Our Visit to The Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital

MUSC VisitOn Friday, January 20, Newt and I had the pleasure of visiting The Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. After an impressive and informative tour of the hospital, Newt and I visited with a group of children in the Atrium. The Atrium is a designated room for the children to play with toys, read books, watch movies, and enjoy the sunlight that streams through the wall of windows.

To the surprise of the children, Ellis the Elephant made a special appearance! Together we read, Sweet Land of Liberty. The morning was full of excitement as the young children gathered around to meet Ellis and learn about the exciting moments of our nation’s history.

Sweet Land of Liberty takes children on an entertaining and educational journey to introduce and explain the greatness of America. It is my hope that Sweet Land of Liberty will help young people appreciate the greatness of America.
